Roger and Joyce, the gracious hosts, maintained a beautifully restored home with a keen eye for detail, showcasing a perfect blend of heritage and comfort. The breakfast options, sourced locally and served with care, were a highlight of each morning.The rooms were tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and boasted comfortable amenities, including a beautifully adorned bathroom and charming antique furniture. The historic setting against towering trees lent a mystical charm to the property, making it a serene retreat in Simcoe. The free Wi-Fi, essential for a traveller like myself, functioned seamlessly, allowing me to stay connected.While Culverdene House may lack some modern conveniences like air conditioning, its serene garden area and cozy sitting spaces more than made up for it, offering a tranquil escape. The absence of pets and smoking on-site ensured a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation.In conclusion, for travellers seeking a balance of cost and luxury, Culverdene House is a remarkable choice.
